Savory Chicken Rice & Kong Bao Chicken

Brownie says:

Hainanese Chinese Rice is everywhere in San Gabriel, almost all Chinese food outlets sells this dish. But most are run by Taiwanese/Hongkokers... Quite nice, got rice with the chicken rice fragrance, and garlic. Only thing is don't have the same chicken chili sauce as in Singapore. Afterall, this dish originate from Singapore :)

And the best in LA is at Savory, a small restaurant that does not have the chicken rice on the board menu, only pizza and pasta. Chinese dish only appear on the paper menu, interesting!

Chicken Rice...

yummy!!

And a quick Quickly chocolate milk tea with pearl, to end the afternoon... USA still have Quickly around. San Francisco has 1, LA has 1...

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but at this rate, "I am really going fat"... We try cooking another new dish, "Kong Bao Chicken" for dinner. This is a common dish at any Chinese food outlet in USA, but to cook it yourself is no easy task...

You need:
- chicken cut in dices, of course
- garlic, ginger, dried chili
- rice wine, sweet soy sauce

Fry the garnishing, add in the seasoning and lastly the chicken dices, and you will get the following dish;

the great chef...
