Knotts Berry Toys-for-Tots

Brownie and Winnie says:

Yesterday we went to Toy District to get toys for the Knotts Berry Toys-for-Tots programme. Just bring a minimum $10 toy per person and in return, a free entry to Knotts Berry. This is a very good deal, and we only been to Knotts Berry at night for the Haunted Halloween night, and cannot see very clearly then with the night and fog around...

There is a lot of cars and people around, all wanting to go into the Park for $10 price. And the US military is helping to collect the toys and to issue entry tickets.

Now I know that Knotts Berry is the Peanuts' Theme Park... The moment we arrive at Knotts Berry, a super big Snoopy greets us!!

Snoopy,

snoopy,

snoopy,

and more snoopy...
A delicious half-chicken, with whole potato, and this reminds me of Kenny Roger's. But still not as good as Kenny Roger chicken...

After lunch, more walking and walking...

Since this is Christmas festive season, Knotts Berry stage a must-have musical "A Christmas Carol", about an Mr Scrooge. I think everyone remembers about this stingy uncle, who finally gets to realize the true spirit of Christmas. Well, they have a short musical on this, with actors and actresses singing along as the story develops. This is photo of Winnie in the entrance of the performance stage, "Bird-cage stage".
Everywhere we go in Knotts Berry, every turn we take, we see stalls and stalls selling Christmas stuffs... They just have so many variety of goods that they seldom repeat.

horse-shoe souvenir, anyone?

so many snoppys...

Outdoor performance like the one below, with all these blue elves working hard to prepare gifts for all the children of the world, is a hit with families, especially children... The main performing stage, Calico Courthouse...

Another performance "Winter Wonderland", this time Snoopy and gang...

Another one more... And the roller coaster ride just swings by above with all the screamings as the show goes on... Hilarious show between a group of bank robbers and the sheriffs of the town :)

And surprise surprise, a parade... though a small scale one compared to Disney, but a good effort, and everyone is enjoying the parade...

We even get the time to make our own plaque, the one Winnie is holding proudly... Anyone can see what it says, hehe :)

Bum-bum car ride... This is Winnie's car,

& this is Brownie's... Off we go

Calico Courthouse is transform into another Snoopy, and Charlie Brown gang gathering as the night drops in... and more Christmas carols are being sung...

Time for dinner...

Any music, "Right here waiting"?

Wings, rings and chips
Before we go home, the last ride of the night is the cho-cho train, a real steam engine operated train, round the park...

I will not want to get up there, man...

Happy Holidays to all :)
