Rain... or Drizzle??

Brownie says:

Sunday... we stay at home, cos sunday's blue. Tomorrow have to study loh, semester will start, and I will be busy. So just decide to stay at home, do nothing and just enjoy a little quiet and peace. Even the birds are so happy chirping at our front yard, that I cannot resist to frighten them :p

After breakfast on bread... We bring doggie-dog for a walk around the neighborhood, since we just get the lash and ready to try out, walking the dog :)
The dog has seizure problem, and it's hereditary, so cannot do anything about it... So we need to be careful while crossing roads, in case it just seizure in the middle of the road and it's heavy... So this time round, we just let it go around the neighborhood to warm it and us... Dogs being dogs, always sniff around and we have to pull on the lash to restrain it from going its way. And the dogs in the neighborhood also not so friendly to see another dog on the street, so everywhere we go... dog barks will follow.

Sceneries of the neighborhood...

Our street: 38th

Nice pink house...

USC school mate??

Most of the house stays Blacks and South Americans folks, but they are pretty nice people, who greets you and says 'Hi', when you walk pass... Their house are nice, but not their cars... Cannot compare to Spore standard, they seldom wash their cars. Dented also don't repair and some even come with no front license plate, only back...

This is the school bus that we often seen in Sesame Street when young. Finally get to see them in person. So happy :D
All vehicles must stop on both sides of the traffic to let the children cross the roads, once the 'stop' red lights on the school bus is activated. The school bus can be so powerful...

After the walk-about, lunch follows... and todays' menu is rice with vegetable and luncheon meat.
And the weather looks like it will rain... with cooling wind and dark clouds. First time seeing clouds in LA since we arrived, as it is always sunny and cloudless...

And it finally rain, but the rain that comes is disappointing to see... Look at the rain drops on the wooden stairs. This is taken after the rain comes and goes... Is this rain?? Even the drizzle in Spore can do better than this!! Anyway, after the miserable rain, the sun is back up again...
In the evening, we have dinner appointment with the people from the USC Spore Student Association, fellow Sporeans in USC. We arrange to meet at the Leavey Library, before they drive us to the dinner place... Outside Leavey Library, there is a carnival going on, and it just ended when we arrive. So everyone is packing the stalls, but the next program is getting started... Some comedians-to-be from USC are entertaining the students with the jokes, though I don't understand a single joke they say...
Anyway, we have our dinner at the Manna Korea BBQ at KoreaTown... 7 of us, since some of them cannot make it bcos of hostel commitment and stuffs. Nice dinner with the beef, pork and chicken nicely marinated. So the BBQ result is good...

The 3 ladies: Jacelyn, Joelyn and Eileen.
