Orientation day4; i only attend day#1 & #2, since then it's free days for me for the rest of the week :)
We have fried rice and cream of mushroom soup for breakfast... Rice is of course leftover from yesterday's rice. Fried rice must use leftover rice, then will be dry and solid.

After a fulfilling breakfast, we go to Bank of America branch in University Village to settle Winnie's account and ATM card... And it's a long wait of 1.5hrs... Here's the inside of the BOA.

Almost all shops in the UV are crazy about USC football, putting posters/banners in the shops... This is the BOA, putting up posters of the past legends of All American. Btw, USC owns the UV...

After settling the BOA stuff, it's time for photoshoots of the UV, since I have not posted any photos of it in our blog before... You must be wondering what's in there... Here goes...

The supermarket in UV that sells almost everything... less Chinese groceries...

We finally get to watch Rush Hour 3, in this cinema in UV... Small theatre, even smaller than Eng Wah. But good enough to just watch movies in. Rush hour 3 is funny and interesting, and is filmed in LA, so we will drop by downtown LA to take a look at the filming locations. The price of a show in this theatre ($6.50 for special USC rate, $9 normal... expensive) does not entice you to watch too much shows. Anyway, this is what the cinema (Flagship theatres, it didn't look any like any flagship of a fleet) looks outside and inside...

After movie (~6pm), we go home loh... Summer sun sets in around 830pm these time, but LA is not as safe as Spore, so better don't walk around afterdark... We walk past the fire station in UV. Normally the gates are closed, but today the fire vehicles are all on the roadside... and a fire fighter is enjoying his cigar on the street. Being photo-crazy Sporean, we approach him for a photo. He not only agrees, but makes us fireman & firewoman for the day...
LAFD - Fire Station No 15

We have to walk past USC as we live on the southwest of USC, and UV is north of USC, so we take more pics of USC as we walk through its grounds...
USC Trojan Bookstore, where we buy books,
and the souvenirs 2 days before...

I wonder what happen to the rest of the bicycle
