It is a total chaos at LA international airport. There is a computer glitch at the custom and immigration. They are not able to computer screen the arriving passengers' database, hence they have to manually do it. We wait almost the whole night for around six hours.. before we manage to hitch a taxi to our hotel.
After the plane land safely at the airport, the air crew announces that there is this technical failure.. We wait inside the plane for around 0.5 hours while the pilot is actively searching for a lot to park at the airport... We are stucked at the landing area for around 2 to 3 hours before the US immigration can let us disembark...
Subsequently, when the pilot announces that we can finally alight the plane, we are very happy to hear that. We carry our hand-held luggage and walk briskly out of the plane. Upon at the arrival hall, we queue up at the counter to check out our passports.. However we meet with another small obstacle.. we wait for quite a long time for our luggage to arrive.. think it takes around half an hour... We then haul our 4 luggage pieces out of the airport towards the pick up point. We have beforehand reserved a shared van service but due to the delay, we miss the van. Henceforth we have to take a cab to our hotel...
We arrive at the hotel at around 3 am in the morning.. We suffer from jetlag and are too tired to unpack our luggage... We immediately turn in till 8am in the following morning... Zzzzzzz....
