Our USA Honeymoon: 38th St, Los Angeles, California

Winnie & Brownie says:

We wake up at around seven in the morning. Today is the day we'll be moving into our single room that we saw the day before. It's love at first sight!!
We go to the hotel reception counter to have our breakfast. We grab a muffin each and get ourselves some cold plain water... So sad :(

After breakfast, we start to pack our luggage so that we can move into our new housing... Hooray... After some time of packing (we have 4 luggage and 2 hand-carry), we finally complete and head for the reception counter to check-out. It is glaring hot as we step out of the doorstep with both hands busy with our luggage...

Upon reaching the counter, we ask the receptionist to help to hire a taxi. We wait over at the sofa, while looking around the hotel. The Vagabonds Inn is a simple hotel with not much frills except for the walls pasted with wallpapers, and its enormous conspicuous signboard... Luckily, there is a swimming pool just outside of our room's backdoor, which we took the liberty of swimming at night... Cold and shiok :)

Soon the taxi arrives and we haul our luggage out of the reception into the trunk of the vehicle. Then we board it and off we go for our new housing... Btw the title is the address of our home.

As we reach there, we are greeted by our lovely landlord, Eladia and her husband, Alex. We chat for a while, before we settle down to sign the lease for the rent... Just a simple piece of white paper, and some lines of black ink, and we confirm where we will be staying for the rest of our honeymoon. They soon leave to buy stuff for our room, and we proceed to our room to unpack our stuff.

It is nice to have such a big house for ourselves... a garden, a big house, a backyard and a big dog... Just that the landlord's son stays here as well, but he is working so afternoon is all to ourselves... hehe
